In celebration of the 100 years of the Lincoln Theatre, a group of volunteers began researching the history of the Lincoln in late 2023, collecting a trove of newspaper articles, documents, images, and oral histories about the Lincoln and the other local theaters. The fruits of that research have been manifested in a walking tour of downtown Mount Vernon theaters, a driving tour of historic theater sites in the rest of Skagit County, and this blog website!
